Today in Krasnoyarsk, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General of Police Aleksandr Gorovoy, thanked the chiefs of consolidated detachments of assigned forces who ensured public order and security during the World Winter Universiade – 2019.
The solemn event took place in the multipurpose complex “Sopka”. It was also attended by the Chief of the MIA of Russia GA for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Lieutenant-General of Police Aleksandr Rechitsky and the personnel of the consolidated detachments.
The First Deputy Minister thanked the chiefs of consolidated detachments who arrived from Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Kurgan, Kemerovo, Omsk, Tyumen, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Irkutsk Regions, the Republic of Khakassia, the Altai and Trans-Baikal Territories, and the chief of the consolidated detachments of the MIA Administration on Transport in the Siberian Federal District for ensuring law and order during the preparation and holding of sports events of the XXIX Winter Universiade.
Aleksandr Gorovoy noted that the accumulated experience of interaction among all services gave positive results, and also confirmed the effectiveness of the management decisions developed to ensure security, law and order during major cultural and sports events.
