“Officers of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Tomsk Region as a result of operative-search activities found more than 62 kilograms of narcotic drugs in the apartment rented by the offender in the regional center,” said the MIA of Russia Spokesperson Irina Volk.
On suspicion of organizing the supply of large quantities of drugs to the territory of the Siberian Federal District (SFD) and their illegal sale through caches, a 23-year-old native of the city of Seversk, the Tomsk Region, was detained. Information about the whereabouts of caches, was passed by him to customers via the Internet.
Investigators of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Tomsk Region initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime, provided for by part 3 of Article 30, part 5 of Article 228.1 of the RF Criminal Code. Remand in custody was selected by court as the preventive measure for the suspect.
