Deputy-Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police Major-General Vitaly Shulika made a working trip to Krasnoyarsk and inspected the readiness of the staff of the internal affairs bodies of the Territory for ensuring public order during the Winter Universiade of 2019.
Vitaly Shulika inspected a number of sports facilities and checked the compliance of their material and technical equipment with the established safety requirements. Then he visited the places of accommodation of the attached law enforcement personnel, arriving in the regional center, to check their living conditions.
In addition, the Deputy-Minister visited the joint security post, on the basis of which, in the period of the Universiade, the coordination of measures for the protection of public order will be carried out. There he was shown the work of the “Safe City” system.
At a meeting with the leadership of the MIA of Russia GA for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Vitaly Shulika outlined the current tasks related to ensuring law and order and public safety at the upcoming competitions, and instructed to conduct additional inspections of all the facilities of the Winter Universiade, including those involving specialists from other departments.
