“Today, accompanied by officers of the Russian Bureau of Interpol and the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation, a native of the Republic of Moldova, Boris Postolaki, born in 1982, accused of committing crimes stipulated in part 4 of Article 111 and part 4 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, was delivered from Hungary to Russia,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
According to the investigation, in 2015 the suspect was involved in a robbery attack on the jeweler's apartment, located on the Krasnoholmskaya Street in Moscow. The damage exceeded 18 million rubles.
“Based on the request of the MIA of Russia GA for Moscow, the man was put on the international wanted list through the Interpol channels in June 2017 and detained on the territory of Hungary,” Irina Volk noted.
Having satisfied the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation for extradition, the Hungarian competent authorities transferred the suspect to officers of the NCB of Interpol of the MIA of Russia.
