“Junior Police Sergeant Anastasiya Fesikova working in the Patrol and Inspection Service of the Russian MIA for Vologda won the gold medal in the 100 m backstroke. The athlete took the first place having won the backstroke final at the European Championships in summer Olympic sports in Glasgow, UK,” said Russian MIA official representative Irina Volk.
“In addition, on August 5th Anastasiya won solver in the 50 m backstroke,” added the official representative.
Anastasiya Fesikova was born on May 8, 1990 in Voskresensk of the Moscow Region. In 2012, she graduated from the V. G. Belinsky State Pedagogical University of Penza with a degree in physical education. She started her career at the Russian MIA General Administration for Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region in April 2017. Beginning from October 2017, she has been serving as a police officer at the Detached Battalion of the Patrol and Inspection Service Police of the Russian MIA Administration for Vologda.
