“Investigation officers of the MIA of Russia GA for the Sverdlovsk Region completed the investigation of the criminal case on the appropriation of other citizens’ money by a resident of Pervouralsk, born in 1984,” said the official representative of the MIA of Russia Irina Volk.

“During the investigation it was established that the man in the period from 2015 to July 2017, being the head of a construction company, appropriated the money of city residents, who had entered into agreements with him on participation in the joint construction of a house on the Beregovaya Street in Pervouralsk. 99 people suffered from the illegal activities of the suspect, the total damage exceeded 200 million rubles,” said Irina Volk.

Currently, the criminal case instituted on the grounds of a crime under part 2 of Article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, with an approved indictment, has been sent to court for examination on the merits. For the period until the sentencing, a preventive measure for the suspects was chosen in the form of a written undertaking of not leaving the city and proper conduct.
