The real damage amounted to 10 million rubles,” said the official representative of the MIA of Russia Irina Volk.

On this fact, the investigative unit of the MIA of Russia Division for the Medvedkovo District initiated a criminal case on the grounds of the offense stipulated by Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”.

“As a result of operational search activities by officers of the CI Administration of the MIA of Russia GA for Moscow, the location of the offender was established and he was detained in the city of Domodedovo, Moscow Region. He turned to be a 53-year-old native of the Moscow Region.

During the search, the police seized from the offender 9 million 300 thousand rubles, as for the rest of the money, he disposed of them at his discretion,” added Irina Volk.

With regard to the defendant, the court selected a preventive measure in the form of remand in custody.
