Today in Ryazan, Deputy-Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Police Colonel-General Arkady Gostev presented to the staff of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Ryazan Region the new chief.
The event was also attended by the Ryazan Region Governor Nikolai Lyubimov, representatives of the legislative, judicial and executive authorities of the region, heads of law enforcement agencies, chiefs of services and subdivisions of the regional MIA Administration, veterans of law enforcement bodies and representatives of the Public Council.
Arkady Gostev handed over to the Chief of MIA of Russia Administration for the Ryazan Region, Police Colonel Sergei Lebedev, a service certificate. He noted that the new chief of the Ryazan police had all the necessary knowledge and skills for successful work in this position.
At the end of the event, the Deputy-Minister presented departmental awards to employees of the regional administration, who achieved high results in their professional activities.
On the same day, Arkady Gostev, Nikolai Lyubimov and Sergei Lebedev laid flowers to the Monument to officers of law enforcement agencies who died in the line of duty and during the Great Patriotic War.
Sergey Nikolayevich Lebedev was born on November 2, 1976 in the town of Shatsk, Ryazan Region. In 1998 he graduated from the Ryazan Institute of Law and Economics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, majoring in “Jurisprudence”.
He began his service in the internal affairs bodies as investigator of the investigation unit of the Internal Affairs Division for the Shatsky District of the Ryazan Region.
From 2001 to 2002 - Deputy chief of the Division - Chief of the investigation group at the Internal Affairs Division of the Chuchkovsky District of the Ryazan Region. From 2002 to 2005 - Chief of the internal affairs division of the Chuchkovsky District of the Ryazan Region.
From 2005 to 2016, he made a career starting with the position of senior investigator of the division for the investigation of crimes in the sphere of economy and tax crimes of the control and methodological department, passing all the steps of career growth in the GA Administration for Investigation of the MIA of Russia GA for the Sverdlovsk Region. From 2015 to 2016 - First Deputy Chief of the GA for Investigation of the MIA of Russia GA for the Sverdlovsk Region.
From 2016 to 2017 - Deputy Chief of the MIA of Russia GA for the Ryazan Region - Chief of the Investigation Administration. Since August 2017 served as acting chief of the MIA of Russia GA for the Ryazan Region.
On May 3, 2018 by a Presidential Decree he was appointed Chief of the MIA of Russia GA for the Ryazan Region.
During the period of his service in the internal affairs bodies, he was awarded medals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “For valor in service”, “For military cooperation”, “For distinguished service” of three classes.
