At the V. Ya. Kikot Moscow University of the MIA of Russia there was held an educational and methodological meeting with the heads of mental and psychological support units and units of psychological work of the MIA of Russia territorial bodies, dedicated to ensuring public order and public safety during the FIFA 2018 World Cup.
Chief of the Department of Civil Service and Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Lieutenant General of Internal Service Vladimir Kubyshko, Chief of the Administration for Security of Major International and Mass Sports Events of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Police Lieutenant-General Leonid Gerbanovsky, Chief of the V. I. Kikot Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Police Lieutenant-General Igor Kalinichenko, Acting Chief of the Administration for Interaction with Civil Society and the Media of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Colonel of Internal Service Aleksandr Knyazev.
Leonid Gerbanovsky in his speech noted the peculiarities of service tasks of police officers during the FIFA 2018 World Cup.
Andrey Larionov, First Deputy Chief of the Russian MIA Department of Civil Service and Personnel, told about the organization of work with personnel involved in the preparation and holding of the Mundial.
Aleksandr Knyazev drew the attention of the participants of the meeting to various aspects organizing the police interaction with representatives of the media.
The participants of the meeting noted also the need to use the positive experience of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, whose personnel participated in ensuring public order during large-scale sports events.
