“Officers of the MIA of Russia NCB of Interpol secured the extradition from Prague of a 58-year-old man accused of committing a crime stipulated by part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” said the official representative of the MIA of Russia Irina Volk.
The suspect is accused of fraud: being the sole participant and at the same time the financial director of a limited liability company, he had fraudulently stolen funds of another organization in an especially large amount. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated. The suspect disappeared.
In October 2014, on the basis of the request of the MIA of Russia GA for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, he was put on the wanted list through the Interpol channels and after a few months detained in the territory of the Czech Republic. His extradition from Prague to Moscow took place today.
