“Criminal investigation officers of the Internal Affairs Administration for the South Administrative District of the MIA of Russia GA for Moscow detained two young people suspected of committing a robbery,” said the official representative of the MIA of Russia Irina Volk.

It was established that the victim posted an announcement on the Internet about the sale of his mobile phones and electronic wrist watches. One of the potential buyers asked to bring the things to his house. When the seller entered the house at the address indicated by the buyer, two men attacked him.

“The offenders were dressed in uniforms of security forces, and their faces were hidden under masks. Threatening with objects similar to submachine-guns, they stole the goods, and then handcuffed the victim to the railing and disappeared. The damage exceeded 150 thousand rubles,” added Irina Volk.

During the operative-search activities on Musa Jalil Street, operatives detained the suspects. They were 22- and 23-year-old unemployed residents of the Krasnodar Territory.

As a result of a search in the place of residence of the detainees, the police found and seized the uniforms and chevrons of officers of the law enforcement agencies, a mask, two helmets and two mock-ups of a submachine-gun for airsoft.

On this fact, the investigation of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Biryulyovo Vostochnoye District initiated a criminal case on the grounds of the crime provided for in Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. With respect to the detainees, a preventive measure in the form of remand in custody was chosen.

At present, measures are being taken to establish additional episodes of the detainees' unlawful activities.
