“Earlier, a report on the robbery committed against a 93-year-old resident of the village of Oktyabrsky was received by the MIA of Russia Division for the Ufimsky District. Offenders penetrated into her house through the window, tied up the elderly woman and, having stolen money, food and five medals fled,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
During the operational-search activities, the criminal investigation officers together with police precincts of the MIA of Russia Division for the Ufimsky District located the suspects and detained a 48-year-old local resident and two accomplices living in the city of Ufa.
The leadership of the territorial body of internal affairs returned the stolen awards to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
The elderly woman warmly thanked the policemen, wished them success in their service, and health to their families.
