A representative of one of the organizations involved in the sale of finishing materials applied to the MIA of Russia Inter-municipal Division “Kinelsky” and told them about the theft of the company's property. The inflicted damage exceeded 2.5 million rubles.
Criminal investigation officers found that in July 2017 the organization signed a contract for the transportation of wallpaper, the total weight of which was 8.5 tons, but the goods were not delivered to the warehouse in the specified time. In the course of the interrogation of the driver who delivered the material, the operatives found out that he had arrived in the Kinelsky District of the Samara Region, where the goods were overloaded into another vehicle.
As a result of the operational activities, criminal investigation officers received operative information on possible involvement of a resident of the Stavropolsky District in the disappearance of the wallpaper. As it turned out, the offender fraudulently seized the goods, and subsequently started selling them.
The suspect was detained by criminal investigation officers of the MIA of Russia GA for the Samara Region when he was trying to sell the stolen property in one of the markets of Samara. During the investigation, detectives identified persons to whom the detainee had sold a part of the materials, as well as the garage in which the stolen wallpaper was kept.
On the basis of the crime features provided for in part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”, a criminal case has been opened.
