“ES&CC officers of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Saratov region suppressed the illegal activity of a clandestine illegal oil refining enterprise,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
“It was established that the refinery located in the Novouzensky District of the Saratov Region, in violation of the norms of the current legislation, was not included in the register of hazardous production facilities, and the owners of the enterprise did not have a license to operate oil refining equipment. The income from illegal activities received by the organizers exceeded 26 million rubles,” said Irina Volk.
Investigation unit of the MIA of Russia Administration for the Saratov region initiated a criminal case on the grounds of the crime provided for in clause “b” of Part 2 of Art. 171 of the RF Criminal Code.
At present, measures are being taken to identify places of sale of manufactured products, and persons involved in the illegal business activities.
