Officers of the internal affairs bodies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory won the World Kickboxing Championship and the European Judo Championship.
From November 3 to November 11, the World Kickboxing Championship was held in Budapest. The winner in the weight category of up to 91 kg was Jan Petrovich – a policeman of a detached company of the Patrol police service of the MIA of Russia Division for Zelenogorsk. Police sergeant Jan Petrovich managed to bypass a Canadian, a Turk, and in the final battle – a Kazakh. In total, about 3000 athletes from around the world took part in the competitions.
From 10 to 12 November, Podgorica (Montenegro) hosted the European Judo Championship among athletes under 23. During 3 days, the judo masters fought for 7 sets of awards in the individual championship.
Today in the weight category of up to 73 kg the victory was taken by Sayan Ondar – policeman of the MIA Inter-District Administration “Krasnoyarskoye”. Police Sergeant Sayan Ondar had 5 fights, defeating an Italian, Lithuanian, British, Romanian and representative of Kosovo.
