“A preventive measure in the form of placement to custody was chosen for suspects in a robbery attack on a jewelry store in St. Petersburg,”, reported the MIA official representative Irina Volk.
The offenders were detained on October 19 by criminal investigators of the MIA GA for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region with the assistance of the SWAT of Rosgvardia as a result of operational measures.
A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the RF Criminal Code. The stolen items were seized. The police check the detainees for involvement in similar unlawful acts.
