Robbery suspects were detained red-handed in St. Petersburg
“Operatives of the St. Petersburg GA, together with SWAT fighters of Rosgvardia, detained the suspects of a robbery attack on a jewelry store,” reported the MIA official representative Irina Volk.
On October 19, 2017, at about 12.00 am, unknown people entered the jewelry shop on Veterans Avenue, and, under the threat of an object resembling a pistol, smashed shop windows and stole jewelry.
Criminal Investigation officers of the MIA GA for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, with the assistance of the SWAT of Rosgvardia, as a result of operational activities at the scene of the crime, detained three citizens suspected of committing these illegal actions.
The stolen items were seized. At the moment, the issue of initiating a criminal case is under consideration.
