“Officers of the Inquiry Division of the Crimean Linear Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport initiated a criminal case, under part 1 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, against the passenger of the flight “Yekaterinburg-Simferopol”, who violated public order on the aircraft” said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
Information about the incident on board an aircraft bound from Yekaterinburg to Simferopol, was received by the duty unit of the police linear division at the Simferopol airport from the commander of the aircraft. The pilot said that during the flight there occurred a conflict between the passengers in the cabin of the plane.
An investigative-operational group was immediately sent to the landing liner. The culprit of the conflict was detained and taken to the police linear division at the Simferopol airport, and then sent for medical examination. The results of the examination showed that the 38-year-old resident of the Sverdlovsk Region was in a state of alcoholic intoxication.
With respect to the suspect, a measure of procedural enforcement in the form of an obligation to attend a summons has been adopted.
