“The police blocked the supply channel and identified not only the potential seller of an especially large batch, but also the sender who faced criminal charges. The Pervorechensky District Court of Vladivostok rendered a guilty verdict against the resident of Vladivostok accused of a crime stipulated by Part 1 Article 30 and Part 5 Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” said the Russian MIA official representative Irina Volk.
“As was established, in 2016 the convict had received a batch of synthetic narcotics for their further sale. The malefactor intended to distribute in the Primorsky Territory through the Internet and caches nearly 500 grams of a synthetic narcotic hidden in packed meal,” added Irina Volk.
To conceal his criminal activity, the man used one of the moderns messengers, as well as frontmen who were unaware of involvement in drug trafficking.
After the detention, the defendant admitted his guilt and was put under house arrest as a restraint. However, in the course of the investigation, he escaped from his place of residence and was hiding in a hotel. The malefactor was detained by the police.
For preparations to drug distribution he was sentenced to imprisonment for 6 years and 4 months in a strict regime correctional colony.
