“Officers of the Traffic Police stopped a motorcycle in the Admiralteysky District of Saint Petersburg. It was driven by a 32-year old citizen working as a guard at an enterprise. The check revealed that the vehicle had been on the wanted list of the Italian law enforcement bodies since 2012,” said the Russian MIA official representative Irina Volk.
The man was delivered to the territorial police division where he explained that he had purchased the motorcycle remotely through a website of free ads having paid 800,000 rubles for it. The vehicle was dispatched to him from Saratov.
The police are currently carrying out a check. The vehicle has been seized. The initiator of the search has been reported of that.
