Aleksandr Nikolayevich Kravchenko was born in 1958 in the Rostov Region.
Higher education: in 1984 he graduated from the Institute of National Economy in the city of Rostov-on-Don, in 1993 – from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Since 2000 he has a degree – Candidate of Legal Sciences.
He began his service in internal affairs bodies in 1979 as a militiaman.
For more than 15 years he held different positions in criminal investigation units.
From 1993 to 1995, he headed the Criminal Investigation Department of the Criminal Militia of the Internal Affairs Department of Rostov-on-Don.
In 1995, Aleksandr Nikolayevich Kravchenko was appointed to the position of head of the Internal Affairs Division of the Leninsky District of Rostov-on-Don, where he worked until 1999.
For the next three years he was the head of the traffic police of the Internal Affairs GA for the Rostov Region.
From 2002 to November 2008, he was the First Deputy Chief of the Internal Affairs GA for the Rostov Region – the Chief of the Criminal Militia.
In 2003, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, he was awarded the medal “For Distinction in the Protection of Public Order”.
Since November 1, 2008, he headed the MIA of Russia GA for the Volgograd Region.
On March 31, 2011, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 369, the Chief of the MIA of Russia GA for the Volgograd Region Aleksandr Nikolayevich Kravchenko was awarded another special rank – Lieutenant General of the Police.
On December 24, 2021, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 722, he was appointed Deputy-Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
